Background

The City of Chicago runs several programs to take your hard  earned dollars.  One such program deals with "bogus" tickets  that you receive from the CPD or the Building Department - although  each very well might have a different location for a hearing.

We have affectionately called this the

 Chicago Revenue Augmentation Program.

One of the first things that was noticed when we attended these  hearings was that many people could not speak the English language;  majority were Spanish and Polish speaking.

Since we believe in due process that is fair, and see no fairness  in going through any proceedings whereby the individual does not  understand what is going on, we wrote a letter to Reilly and  forwarded a copy to the aldermen contained in the letter.

Not a single alderman came forward to take issue on behalf of the  people.  Wayne A. Strnad did.
