Wayne Strnad would like to extend his sincere thanks to the many people who have called to tell us their horror story within their own community or business. It’s amazing that our city government allows much of the things to happen and even go on breeding itself, like some sickly virus. Perhaps even more amazing is the fact that one branch of city government will not interfere with another even where issues of health are concerned. Case in point is the Northwest Facility and the 28th Ward Streets & Sanitation Office.
This newsletter addresses some of the concerns that people working for the City of Chicago have regarding their work conditions. Downtown finally reacted and sent in Frank Respondi and Jack Batoel to meet with the employees. All employees at this facility are members of Local 726.
Also exposed is the segregation policy - something unwritten - that happens throughout the city. The most segregated wards are 24, 27, 28, 29 and 37.
