Wayne Strnad writes Letter to Inspector General on behalf of the community at large and business concerns.
This letter went to the Inspector General for the City of Chicago on behalf of the community and business concerns. In it you can see several issues that were brought forth that fall under the privy of that office.
Of special interest was an item that dealt with usage of taxpayer money to the tune of $6 million dollars for an educational program for Streets and Sanitation workers. Wayne Strnad had constructed a FOIA and submitted it to the Commissioner of Streets and Sanitation, Alfanso "Al" Sanchez, to find out about the type of training that was available for city workers. Sanchez in turn, passed it to Kathleen Hennessy. It followed the same path every other FOIA request followed and it was denied.
Kathleen, who does not like to be called Cathy, Hennessy later provided falsified documents to the 7th District Federal Court, specifically pertaining to a suspension of one city employee. We published the original suspension notice but what Hennessy provided was altered.
She is also a Deputy Commission/Legal consult for Streets and Sanitation.
Research further showed that she has a relationship with another law firm in Chicago of the same name. Looking back, we should have gone after her license to practice law - lying to a federal court is not acceptable at all.
