I stumbled upon this information, strictly by accident, that describes some very interesting things about what the FDA is doing. Here is a quote:

This is part of the planned destruction of America. It is part of a plan to force America into a "NORTH AMERICAN UNION" patterned after the EU.
FDA is attempting to get AROUND the will of the American people and the will of congress thru this conferencing which the PEOPLE of Canada, the US and Mexico have no input into.
In the SCOPE section at http://www.fda.gov/oia/charter.html, FDA says this:
SCOPE OF WORK "The Trilateral Cooperation serves the mutual interests of all three countries and provides a forum for participants to discuss effective means for achieving its mission. Joint problem-solving techniques and consensual decision-making processes are used in reaching resolution of issues in a way that advances public health and gives consideration to the economic impact of health fraud. To avoid duplication and overlap, the Trilateral Cooperation should not deal with issues that are being discussed in other fora unless requested to do so as a means of solving a specific problem affecting the three countries or unless directed to do so by the Heads of Delegation. The Committee recognizes that the work under the Trilateral Cooperation is not a substitute for bilateral cooperation, nor does it impose obligations on its counterparts. Countries should use existing and new fora to discuss bilateral issues."
HOW IS THIS A THREAT?
We must never forget how the FDA and their international counterparts define "health fraud."
The world’s FDA’s function as trade associations for pharmaceutical companies. They are paid millions of dollars in fees from the pharmaceutical companies to put Rx drugs thru their less than scientific "approval process." Furthermore, there is a revolving door between the drug companies and the FDA as many leave the FDA to go to work for the drug companies.
The FDA’s defines "health fraud" to encompass any health claim made about any non patentable natural substance, regardless of how true it is, if it cuts into the sale of Rx drugs. They also consider health fraud to include any non mainstream, alternative medical approach (any approach not involving the use of patented prescription or OTC drugs that have been thru their so called "approval" process.
Read "Why is the FDA Picking on Cherries? "http://www.lef.org/magazine/mag2006/mar2006_cover_cherries_01.htm and you’ll see the the FDA is currently attacking the Cherry Industry, threatening to start raiding cherry orchards, unless the industry stops making health claims about the therapeutic effects of Cherries that are endorsed by the US Department of Agriculture.
"The FDA does not want the cherry industry to tell people that recent studies show that cherries contain substances that are potentially 10 times stronger than aspirin or ibuprofen for relieving pain. It does not want the public to know that substances in cherries may kill cancer cells and prevent cancer. It makes no difference whether these statements are true. What’s important is that the public not be told that a natural substance (cherries) has been shown to work as well as or better than an unnatural one (ibuprofen)."
"Only drugs, according to the FDA’s legal doctrine, can prevent, treat, mitigate, or cure disease. If something does those things, it’s a drug. And if it’s a drug, it has to be tested for its ability to do those things. In this double-speak world, no natural substance can do anything significant against disease-that is, unless it undergoes testing as a drug. Attempts at slaying this many-headed monster of convoluted truths have only made it grow new heads."
The FDA is claiming that statements made by the Cherry Industry on their websites are an extension of the labelling of their products, and they’re pressuring the Cherry industry to stop making these claims. The Cherry Industry is fighting back in the courts claiming that the FDA is violating their First Amendment Right to free speech. Efforts are underway to get a bill through congress called the Health Freedom Protection Act to stop this FDA censorship.
The pharmaceutical industry and the FDA’s of Canada, the USA and Mexico have no USE for national laws that "interfere" with Pharma’s efforts to block the use of natural products. They have no USE for the US Constitution and its First Amendment. They have no use for laws like DSHEA, or the Health Freedom Protection Act so they’re all in FAVOR of ABOLISHING AMERICA and forcing all 3 countries together into the planned NORTH AMERICAN UNION, where we’d have much less input into the legislative process than we do now and everything would be dictated to us.
The FDA is in clear violation of the Administrative Procedure’s Act, and the Federal Advisory Committee’s Act via this conferencing, and I want Congress to rein them in via Oversight Hearings and direct intervention to stop this.

Every now and then a little change is good. As you may be aware, many of my blog posts stopped appearing. The reason is the software that I tested simply did not fill the bill for my standards.
Some of the considerations that I gave to the software were:
Ease of posting information – There is a difference between working on your local system as opposed to working on the server. For instance, usually a local copy of whatever you’re doing runs faster on your personal system at home even though the same task can be accomplished working online within your browser.
Quickly linking to other sources – Working directly on the server requires one to either open another browser window or tab and then go to a particular website for information that you might want to incorporate into your post for linking purposes. Although not a real problem because I usually have several browser windows open, each with multiple tabs showing information, it does become a bit of a pain shifting from one browser window to another when, say, ten of them are sitting in the tray at the bottom of your screen.
Connecting to the Server from a local copy of your blogging software. This is a major problem for many people who are using a Microsoft based operating system. One cannot easily install, for example, a copy of WordPress (WP) in a Vista or earlier operating system without major modifications because WordPress is based on a language called php. No version of a Microsoft based operating system can interpret that language – Microsoft has used, for several years, asp and asp.net and only recently over the last few years, incorporated java.
Much of the blog software out there that is available does not use asp or the net framework.
At this point I must point out that Microsoft produces a program called Windows Live Writer (WLW). It is a nice little program that allows you to set up a blog (or connect to one that you already have running) and post entries. I, who has used Microsoft software since the first version of DOS appeared, actually started a blogging site with it and it seemed to work ok – at least for a while anyway. Then it decided to give me problems when I shifted over to Vista. Thus, one of the reasons I stopped entries. Windows Live Writer is a FREE program that you can download!
Other than the problems mentioned above, there were some other things that had problems. The first major problem dealt with something called themes. There are many sorts of themes out there and a sizeable number of them are free. I like free, do you? Sometimes WLW would not recognize a specific theme or simply altered the appearance of the theme for whatever reason – I suspect the css file was not interpreted correctly.
So, how does one make all this stuff work with the least amount of work and problems?
What to do on the server…
Your hosting company will allow you access to your account either via the web or ftp. For the most part you’ll use the ftp for transferring files over to the server. I’m not going to address that here.
The part that concerns us is installing two pieces of software. First, you need to ask if your host has php installed on the server. If they tell you no, we have iis6 or iis7 installed, then ask them to install it for your account. You need php to run WP.
After php is installed, you’ll need to have WP installed. Usually one phone call can accomplish both installs for you.
During the install of WP you’ll need to tell the install software where you are setting up your blog i.e. what the name is of the subdirectory off the root. Pick a name – any name will do for now.
The install program will create any directories that it needs to run WP on the server. Make note somewhere (on paper) exactly where you set this up.
Login as admin right away and change the password. Write your new password on a piece of paper and put it in a safe place.
Logout and then login using your new password.
At this point, you might like to create a new user – the name you’re going to use for all your writing. Give yourself admin permission so that you can do everything as a administrator without logging out of your account and then logging back in as the admin.
Go pick a theme you like. You’ll find this under "Appearance" –> Add New Theme.
Install the new theme.
What to do at home…
You’re almost ready to start blogging. The next step is pretty simple.
Download WLW and install it.
When you run the program you’ll be presented with a series of windows that will help you set up your blog. You can modify things later, if you choose. Play around with the menu items, specifically, the Blogs menu item. As a subset of that menu item, you have "Add Blog Account". This allows you to create another connection to a blog that you already have online somewhere or create a new connection.
Once you finish this connection, you should see your new theme in WLW. Begin writing and enjoy. You can can do things from your home computer and publish them to a WP blog.
You are told by your local school system that you must, make that are required to, have your child vaccinated. If you don’t then your child cannot attend school.
This has lead to a flood gate of people removing their children from school and seeking alternative education for their children.

Here’s another study linking cell phones to brain cancer. In a recent issue of the peer-reviewed journal Occupational Environmental Medicine a link was shown between cell phone use and brain cancer. Here are some of the findings:
1. Using a cell phone for more than 10 years increases the risk of getting brain cancer.
2. People using a cell phone for 10 years or more are twice as likely to develop a tumor on the same side of the head where the handset is used most often.
3. Using a cell phone just one hour a day over a 10-year period is enough to increase the risk of brain cancer
4. Children should not use a cell phone at all
5. International standards to protects users from radiation are "not safe" and need to be revised.
6. Subjects using cell phones for 10 years or more were 20% more likely to develop acoustic neuroma (a benign tumor of the auditory nerve).
7. Subjects using cell phones for 10 years or more were 30% more likely to develop malignant gliomas.
Clearly, once again, these findings present compelling information linking cell phone use to brain cancer.
Don’t take the use of wireless technology lightly. It is a very real and relevant danger. Protect yourself and your family and don’t let your kids use a cell phone unless it’s an emergency.

I wanted to share this video with you because of all the information that I’ve read about how the American Medical Association and the American Cancer Society are apparently in bed with the pharmaceutical companies not in addressing the cause of cancer but in the promulgation of financial gains for a select few.
After you view this you can see other related videos that further explore the connectivity of these organizations and how our own government, through the FDA, works to destroy medical professionals and researchers life and the pursuit of intellectual freedom.
Note: Of all the cures that exist for cancer, and there are several that do not use the orthodox treatment of surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, not a single one has been given the luxury of the scientific approach to determine whether or not it is a cure! However, they have gone out of they’re way to denounce any cure that is not of a chemical basis. One should logically ask why this is so?
None of us like the idea of being forced out of work for reasons that are totally beyond our control. However, in this economic cycle there are no guarantees for anything regarding employment. Historically, we as a nation of people, have gone through such cycles before and, if you are old enough to remember, have come out ahead in the end; great sacrifices had to be made in the process and as a work-force, we suffered.
All of us need to be prepared for the event that we are going to lose our job. In fact, you should make a plan to cover that event. Hopefully you will not need to use the plan but it is better to be prepared than not.
Here are some of the things you might consider in your plan:
* Apply for unemployment benefits right after you get laid off.
This is the first step regardless of what the job market is or will become. You don’t want to drain your savings completely before you apply. In many states there is a waiting period before you’ll receive that first check. Typically, you’ll lose one – two weeks of any payments before you get your first check. That means your first check, after you are laid off and immediately apply for benefits, will come to your house 3 – 4 weeks later.

Note: To qualify you must have been laid off, not fired, and have worked for a stipulated minimum amount of time. Generally, they expect you to have worked for 1.5 years.
* Health Insurance
It was by the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) that people let go from companies could receive health care benefits. You can expect to pay more than you paid before if you had this deducted from your payroll check because now the company is not paying the portion that was part of your benefit. I recommend shopping around for health insurance.

Note: Although as of this writing the Health Care plan of this administration has passed the House of Representatives, there is no assurance that it will pass the Senate in its current form.
* Rebuild your resume
There are many places that are popping up that perform the service of writing resumes. Beware. Some of these places want to charge an outrageous amount of money. Just do a little research before you outlay large sums of money. You might start here: http://www.blogcatalog.com/blog/resume-writing-101
* Get your expenses under control
First make a list of all your expenses along with the dates that payments are due. A spreadsheet can be quite useful in performing this task.
If there are any non-essential expenses then consider eliminating them. Example: eating out every day or renting a movie every week. Really, they are not essential items but a luxury that you can live without.
Look for simple things that you or your family do that cost money but can really be eliminated. Example: when you leave a room, turn off the light(s).
Turn down the thermostat. Heating costs are very high in the winter. Turning down the thermostat at night can help save you money. Most cities have a lower limit at which you must provide heat. It varies from municipality to municipality. However, if you own your own home there is realistically no reason why you cannot go a notch or two below this lower limit. To compensate for that degree or two of coldness in the house, buy another blanket. It will definitely cost less for a blanket that you can use all winter than the amount of dollars you’ll spend in heating the home.
Look for seepage of heat. Check your windows to make sure that there is no gap between the frame and the window. Also, look for any gaps where the window lock is. You can purchase some putty that is specifically designed as a filler for the purpose of filling the gap(s).
Consider purchasing a window film that will stop the drafts coming in through the window(s). This, combined with the putty, will help save money in heating costs.
Check your doors. Usually doors are a source of cold air, especially at the bottom of the door. As an economical solution, you could place a towel at the bottom just to stop the drafts. You can even purchase some fancy looking draft blockers. They come in a wide variety like cartoon characters, little monsters that drive the dogs crazy, etc.
For drafts that are not at the bottom of the door they sell a product that is called felt. You use a nail gun or a hammer to attach the felt to the frame of the door. You can even use a stapler to attach the felt.
The object in all of this is to cut expenses as much as you can. My mom used to say FGL which stands for Family Go Low. I guess she meant that all expenses should be put in the lowest possible mode.
* Cut Coupons from Newspapers
You should never be ashamed of saving money. This is especially true today considering how bad our economy is. Since you’ll probably be getting the newspaper, especially the Sunday edition which is larger than the weekday edition and has more job listings, you’ll find that many local stores place coupons in the paper. Cut them out and USE THEM. If you can save a buck or two every day then you’ll save anywhere from $365 to $730 per year. Viewing it another way, that could be a substantial payment toward your heating costs.
Of course, you can also go online and look for coupons. Many of the manufactures have websites and usually provide an area for coupons to buy their product. If need be, register and they will send you coupons, or an email that links to the coupons, that you’ll be able to download and print. You might be able to save hundreds of dollars this way.

As of this writing, nearly every State in the Union has gone through major unemployment problems that have either stayed the same or are in double digit percentages. According to Leo Hindery, former president of AT & T DSL division, the true unemployment is around 20%.
