10 Billion in Debt and Growing - Wayne Strnad tells community and business concerns
Don't Ask What Happened to the Money!
According to research Wayne Strnad did, the amount borrowed was more than $10 billion. It was borrowed during a period when the sewers needed to be repaired, streets were falling apart, and aldermen needed another raise(?)!
The amount was more than two times the budget for one year for the City of Chicago. Don't ask where all that money went because nobody within this administration can give you a straight answer. That's all they can do is redirect you to someone else, who will redirect you to someone else, ad infinitum. Some call it the community and business run-a-round.
