Wayne Strnad shows Community Residents Get the Bill for city monkey business
One thing a politican does not like is when you do your research and come up with facts based upon their own data.
Wayne Strnad added all the property taxes that were paid for the north end of the 29th Ward. The total was more than $21 million in property tax. This does not include any other tax that was collected such as a sewer tax, school tax, water reclamation tax, city tax on purchases, state tax on purchases, federal tax, and so forth. As you can imagine, there is a great deal of taxation going on but the services provided are not commensurate with the money collected from the community or business concerns.
This document address that issue.
