Ever look at the gas consumption graph that's provided? Compare last year with the current entry.

Did you find that it's alleged you used more gas than the previous years monthly total for the same month?

Did you write to Peoples Gas and never get a reply?

Write about such problems here.

Update: People's Gas came out with a new meter and took away the old. The old meter was about 13 years old.

For your general information, it is by city ordinance that they are to remove a meter after 10 years.

This came by way of conversation. One of Peoples Gas users told us that she compared the information Peoples Gas provided and even wrote a letter, enclosed with payment, asking to explain how it could be that more gas was consumed when in fact she did nothing different that the previous years. In fact, she rarely cooked, eating out most of the time.

Peoples Gas Reply: Nothing.

Customer service needs an upgrade.
